Seymour Centre is the University of Sydney’s multi-venue performing arts centre. Located in the heart of campus, here you can discover the best independent theatre, comedy and music performances throughout the year.
We also enliven the artistic life of our city through presenting partnerships with major cultural events such as Sydney Festival and Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras.
STUDENT RUSH PROGRAM - Great tickets at super cheap prices!
Our Student Rush Program aims to provide heavily discounted tickets for University of Sydney students. How does it work? Sign up via our Student Rush Program form and we will send you offers as they come to hand. These could be on the day of the performance or a few days before. You will need to be quick.
This offer is only available to current University of Sydney students registered via their University email address. Any non-university email addresses will not be added. This program runs until the end of 2024 with a renewal option at the beginning of each year.

Each year the Seymour is the venue for a wide range of student performances. From Faculty Revues to the best from Sydney University Dramatic Society and Sydney University Musical Theatre Ensemble, we are proud to be a place where students can explore creativity as part of university life. Our Box Office cafe is located on the ground floor in the main foyer, and serves an array of food and beverages including sandwiches, hot pastries, snacks, ice-creams, tea and coffee. Open one hour prior to all events, and throughout the University semester.
