After a global pandemic, people displaced around the planet, and 18 months of lockdowns, Taikoz, Ensemble Offspring and The Coming Together Band featuring Waangenga Blanco decided it’s high time we all come together again.
So, what better way to do so than via Fred Rzewski’s 1971 Minimalist classic, Coming Together! And in a spirit of celebration, the World Premiere of Australian composer Luke Styles’ Songs And Grooves for winds, synthesisers and taiko.
Event program:
Coming Together Fred Rzewski
Zeami’s Bones Ian Cleworth (World Premiere)
