Sydney Local Health District with the University of Sydney and Seymour Centre presents

Sydney Innovation and Research Symposium 2023

20 - 21 July

Past Event

For more than a decade we have brought together some of the brightest minds in health, medical research, tech and community to share ideas and forge new collaborations.

At this festival of ideas we Imagine. Transform. Lead.

Since 2012, with support from our amazing partners, the Sydney Innovation and Research Symposium has created opportunities to inspire, dream big and learn.

In 2023 the Sydney Innovation and Research Symposium returns as a two day conference at the Seymour Centre. There'll be inspiring speakers, snapshot sessions and panel conversations as well as crowd favourites like the Pitch and The Big Idea.

This is a free event for staff, partners and consumers of Sydney Local Health District.

This year we have partnered with the Seymour Centre to offer full conference, single day and half day program tickets. All attendees will require a formal ticket to attend each session (tickets will be checked on entry to each theatre sessions).

Sessions will run in both theatres concurrently – when booking your ticket(s) you will need to select the theatre and sessions you would like to attend.

Our program is full of inspiring speakers, snapshot sessions and panel conversations as well as crowd favourites like the Pitch and The Big Idea. View our program for details.
