Planning Your Visit
On the day of your event, please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your event start time. Seating for schools is by general admission, and each school will be asked to enter the theatre as a group.
Transport
The Seymour has easy drop-off and pick-up points for school buses on City Rd and Shepherd St. Please note there is no bus parking available onsite.
The Seymour is a 10-minute walk from Redfern Station via Ivy St. From Central Station, it’s a 20-minute walk via Cleveland St.
Foyers and courtyard
The Seymour has large foyers and a courtyard where students can gather before and after the show.
Victoria Park
Victoria Park is directly opposite the Seymour. It’s a great place to take students after the show to eat lunch and burn off some energy before the journey home.
Access
Access parking is located on Maze Cres within the University of Sydney, a short walking distance to the Seymour entrance. There is lift access to all levels of the centre and wheelchair seating is available in all venues. Hearing loops are available in the Everest and York theatres, and fully accessible toilets are located on the ground floor.

Drinks and snacks are available for purchase from the Box Office cafe one hour prior to each event.
University Campus Tours
Join University of Sydney Student Ambassadors for a free tour of the Camperdown/Darlington campus. Students will get an inside look at Australia’s oldest university and receive the answers to any questions they have about the university. Tours are usually one hour in length, and highlight popular sites including the Quadrangle, Great Hall, Sydney Nanoscience Hub, and the Abercrombie. A thirty-minute presentation can also be included as well as a visit to the Chau Chuk Wing Museum.*

*Visiting the Chau Chuk Wing Museum will increase the duration of the tour and may incur a fee. The minimum booking period is three weeks with a cancellation period of three business days. Campus tours are not available during University semester breaks.
