Day 2
For more than a decade we have brought together some of the brightest minds in health, medical research, tech and community to share ideas and forge new collaborations.
In 2024 the Sydney Innovation and Research Symposium returns for day two at the Seymour Centre. There’ll be inspiring speakers, snapshot sessions and panel conversations as well as crowd favourites like The Great Debate and The Big Idea.
This is a free event for staff, partners and consumers of Sydney Local Health District.

Please arrive at the start time on the day of your event. Gather and connect before and after sessions in the exhibition foyer and outdoor courtyard.
TRANSPORT
The Seymour is a 20-minute walk from RPA Hospital (through the RPA and University of Sydney campuses).
It’s a 10-minute walk from Redfern Station via Ivy Street and a 20-minute walk from Central Station via Cleveland Street.
ACCESS
Access parking is located on Maze Cres within the University of Sydney, a short walking distance to the Seymour entrance. There is lift access to all levels of the centre and wheelchair seating is available in all venues. Hearing loops are available in the Everest and York theatres, and fully accessible toilets are located on the ground floor.
