'Dandanakka Darrna’ is a dance competition that aims to promote the South Indian dance community of Australia. Dandanakka Darrna represents the sound of the drums in most South Indian music — fittingly, the competition will present the action, musicality and energy of dance.
Multiple self-nominated dance teams will compete for first, second and third place. These dancers will present a variety of styles in their performances. They will be judged on choreography, soundtrack, costumes, story and sync.
This competition will inspire past, present and future dancers to connect and expand the limits of their comfort zone.
