IMPORTANT UPDATE 29 SEPTEMBER 2021: In light of the ongoing impact of COVID in Greater Sydney, this event has been cancelled. If you are an existing ticketholder, you will be contacted by our Box Office.
In Across the Skies, young refugees who have experienced the horror of war, trauma and persecution, perform their own true stories in a symphony of spoken word, music and movement.
Young refugees now attending Miller High School and Intensive English Centre, will charm and inspire with their humour, honesty and innocence as they perform pivotal moments from their lives. It’s the magic of authentic voices, calling us to share their stories of horror and joy, of laughter and pain, of wonder and resilience.
The show assists non-refugee students to better appreciate the lives of their refugee classmates who are struggling with current resettlement issues and past trauma. Refugee and migrant students in the audience will feel acknowledged and recognised.
Tickets: School groups $18 per student. One teacher free per 10 students, additional teachers at student price.
Suitability:
Years 5 – 12
English Stages 3 – 5, Geography Stages 4, 5, History Stages 3, 5, Society & Culture Stage 6, Creative Arts Stage 3, Drama Stages 4 – 6, Dance Stage 4, PDHPE Stage 3

We are a registered COVID-Safe business and we're committed to making your Seymour visit as safe and enjoyable as possible.
