We are a registered COVID-Safe business and we're committed to making your Seymour visit as safe and enjoyable as possible.

Due to physical distancing requirements, the theatre will operate at 50% reduced capacity during school shows. School groups will be spaced apart according to NSW Government guidelines. If spacing is required within your school group, please contact schoolbookings@seymour.sydney.edu.au

The booking teacher will be listed as the school group’s point-of-contact for contact tracing.

Schools are responsible for ensuring that any staff and students who are unwell, awaiting a COVID test result, or under instruction to self-isolate do not attend.

Masks are encouraged, but ultimately up to the discretion of schools.

Find out about our other COVID safety measures here.

Flashbacks is the new show from Treehouse Theatre, renowned for creating Suitcase Stories.

Witness 30 stories of the refugee experience direct from the young people who lived them.

Originally from places you hear about on the news, these students now attend Miller Technology High School and Intensive English Centre. In Flashbacks they share with you their true-life stories of triumph, heartbreak and survival. You will laugh, you will cry, and you will begin to understand.

This show assists non-refugee students to better appreciate the lives of their refugee classmates who are struggling with current resettlement issues and past trauma. Refugee students in the audience will feel acknowledged and recognised.

“It opened the students’ eyes to the reality of refugees... put their problems and worries into a different perspective.”
Mariana, School Counsellor
